The laboratory tests for COVID-19 looks for SARS-CoV-2, the virus that causes COVID-19. The tests are cleared by the FDA under the Emergency Use Act (EUA) for bringing tests to market, and are all administered in a CLIA-certified and/or CAP-accredited laboratory.
The COVID-19 test is administered by collecting a respiratory sample from saliva, nose and/or throat. Because we have multiple partner labs we work with, we triage the tests based on daily capacity and send each sample to our partner laboratories who can deliver the most rapid results.

Results are reviewed in real-time, by a telemedicine physician, as soon as they are ready. Once reviewed, employees can access results through the secure portal.
