Account Manager, Enterprise Health Systems

As a member of ixlayer’s commercial team, you are inspired to bring new, disruptive ideas to the precision health market. You have a track record of over-quota achievement. As an account manager your job is to connect with as many prospects as possible, understand their needs, and execute on the opportunity. You’ll be joining an early-stage company with a small, diverse and experienced team backed by top investors. Working closely with the leadership team, you’ll be supported and encouraged to grow with every opportunity.

What You’ll Do:

  • Manage relationships with key stakeholders across the business, IT, and C-suite
  • Qualifying and understanding a prospect’s needs
  • Maintain relationships with our prospects and users
  • Meet/exceed pipeline generation and revenue targets
  • Manage complex sales cycles, utilizing internal and external resources as appropriate
  • Meet with customers as-needed (willing to travel up to 40%)


  • 5+ years of selling enterprise software and related services into complex environments
  • Excellent written, verbal, interpersonal and presentation skills
  • Solid tenure with enterprise SaaS and/or Life Sciences companies
  • Ability to communicate product value and recognize opportunities
  • Must be highly self-motivated and able to work with little direct supervision
  • Affable personality that blends well with an innovative and vibrant start-up environment
  • Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales quotas
