Ureaplasma

This test detects Ureaplasma bacteria typically found in the cervix, vagina or urethra that can be passed through sexual contact. An overgrowth of ureaplasma can cause uncomfortable symptoms and irritation and ifleft untreated can lead to serious health problems and progressive infections such as chronic pelvic pain and infertility.
